Project Acorn Golf and Tennis Outing
Format
The 15th Annual event is scheduled for June 21, 2009 at the Morris County Golf Club in Morris Township, New Jersey. http://www.morriscgc.com
A buffet lunch precedes the golf shotgun start at noontime. A shootout and cocktails are held before dinner and awards at 6:00.
The event also features a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $20. Last year’s prize exceeded $3500.
The Tennis Round Robin is held in the morning on a seperate date.

Project Acorn conducts silent auctions of golf packages at the Golf and Tennis Outing in June.

Register for The Golf and Tennis Outing
Child’s PlayChild’s Play is a casual cocktail party designed to connect with your delight in play. Held in October each year, the event carries an autumnal theme. The party provides a particular connection to the partner preschools; each school handcrafts a unique scarecrow to decorate the event and in return, the party-goers have the opportunity to work on a craft which is then presented to the schools.
The party begins with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Silent auction items ring the venue and entertainers stroll among the attendees. The strictly casual event is billed as “blue jeans optional”.
The 6th Annual event is scheduled for October 23, 2009 at the Haggerty Education Center of the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, a Morris County Park Commission facility in Morris Township, New Jersey.

Activity Journal
Business and friends of Project Acorn can support the organization by purchasing advertisements in the activity journal distributed at our events and posted on the website. Advertisements range in price from $100 to $750.
